Two things we will never do
Both of these happened to us while house hunting. Both are how the scams start.
We will never ask for your documents before a visit
A broker asked for my Aadhaar and LinkedIn to “send to the owner” before we had even seen the house. Aadhaar is not required to view a home, and a stranger asking for it on WhatsApp is the opening move of a known fraud. You share documents when there is an agreement to sign, and you share them with the owner, not with us.
We will never ask you to pay to see a home
Not a token, not a visitor pass, not a “refundable” ₹2,000. Anyone who asks you for money before you have keys is running a scam, and on Nele there is a report button on every listing. Brokerage is zero. We only earn when you actually move in.

What we won't list
You can tell us your genuine conditions: minimum stay, no sub-letting, family or professionals. We show them on the listing so nobody wastes a trip.
We will not carry restrictions based on religion, caste or where someone is from. There is no field for it, and there won't be. If that is a dealbreaker, Nele isn't the right place for your home.
